Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at FMVZ-USP, he has a master's degree in Animal Nutrition and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the same University. Professor at FCAV / UNESP, Campus of Jaboticabal, where he works since 1998, Prof. Aulus is responsible for the Residency Program in Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition of Dogs and Cats at the Veterinary Hospital of FCAV / UNESP. Coordinates the Research Laboratory in Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases of Dogs and Cats of FCAV / UNESP. Director of the Technical Affairs Committee of the Brazilian College of Animal Nutrition - CBNA. President of the Brazilian Society of Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats since 2019. He is an adjunct professor at Kansas State University - USA and Vice President of the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN).
Animal scientist graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) with a focus on companion animal nutrition and pet food processing. Her masters and Ph.D. degrees were taken on companion animal health and nutrition also from UNESP, and her postdoctorate training was based on the evaluation of pet food processing. For 6 years, Thaila was the coordinator of a center of research in companion animal nutrition.
